Marshfield Artists' Coopertive becomes ARTscape Cooperative

We are pleased and very excited to announce some changes for the Marshfield Artists' Cooperative.

First, the Marshfield Artists' Cooperative is now the ARTscape Cooperative.

The Marshfield Artists' Cooperative, operators of the ARTscape gallery in Marshfiled have embarked on a new and exciting chapter in their history. After two years of operating the ARTscape gallery, the cooperative has chosen a new path.

We have handed operations of ARTscape gallery over to the Chestnut Avenue Center for the Arts, who will operate the gallery under a new name, with a new schedule of artists and exhibits.

ARTscape cooperative is aware of the challenges that face all artists striving for success in their ventures and to that end we are taking the cooperative in a new and exciting direction.

Our mission: To Create Art for the Community and a Community for Artists.

To achieve this we will be exploring new and alternative ways to do many things, including:

• Displaying and selling our work
• Engaging the community in art
• Engaging artists in a community
• Creating positive relationships with other organizations
• Enhancing the skills of member and non member artists

We begin this journey with a very exciting partnership with Arts Wisconsin, Wisconsin Arts Board, Chestnut Avenue Center for the Arts and Springboard for the Arts in presenting The Work of Art, a workshop to help artists cultivate the skills and talents necessary to be successful as artists in the creative economy.
